Radio whistles when I plug my sirius radio into my auxiliary plug in my radio. What should I do? I just put in a new radio. I have never had a problem with my ground. When I plug in my Ipod to the auxiliary plug there is no whistling. But when I plug in my Sirius radio into it there is whistling. Would a ground loop isolator fix the problem?

How do I turn my Sirius radio into an Audio In? I have a Sirius Satellite Radio hardwired into my car, the model is a Sportster 4. I took it to Circuit City and had them wire it into the car so it sounds better. I figured the base of the sirius player had to have an Audio In so I could hook my iPOD to it...But I don't see anywhere to do that. So, the ports on the Sirius player are "FM Out, Audio Out, ANT, and DCSU" 3 of them are have plugs in them (all leading into the dash of my car so I can't see where their going...) Sirius radio? I have it installed for about 2 months now, and I find it is very repetitive. I know there are over 100 channels, but I really only listen to about 5, because that is what I like. but on a recent road trip, it was like deja vu; I could predict what was playing next after the first 3 hours or so. How to install sirius radio in a car that is equipt for it?!?!? So i have a 2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited Edition Sedan and one of its many features is that it comes Satallite ready. The dealer made it seem like it was so simply and all I had to do was call Sirius and get a code or what not. I HAVE a sirius radio account and have one set up in my Pathfinder and had another one in an older surbaru that I had ((but no longer use cuz that car died lol)) so signing up is not the issue here. Once I got the new car car and was playing around with it and reading the options, it says i NEED some sort of reciever for the Sirius to work in the car so I call the dealer and they tell me its going to be 400 bucks to install and I thought that was absoutely CRAZY!!!! anyone had trouble with SIRIUS RADIO and what did you do? lots of static, the regular FM (88.1) sometimes bleeds over the sirius radio (with sirius 'on') so I went back to the installer and got an FM converter/adapter, supposed to 'make level' the FM signal and allow sirius to overpower it. Didnt work. Installer says it's either a bad sirius radio, or my Honda Fit's FM signal is poor to begin with. Sirius of course says the radio is fine and I actually dont believe them anymore. Who's had trouble and what did you do? The installer now wants to use an auxiliary adapter, like you would for an Ipod, thinking that will completely over ride the FM signal problem. he seems nice, not in it for the $, hence I distrust Sirius because they hide behind 800 numbers. HELP!

Steering Wheel Controls Not Working With Sirius Radio? I just had Sirius radio installed into my satellite ready radio system in my 08 Toyota Camry Solara. Everything works great, but the steering wheel control which normally switches between my presets when I'm listening to regular FM stations only goes up or down the channel listing when I'm listening to Sirius.
